Topic Categories
A
Student Group, headed by its Teacher Coach, can choose any of the seven
(7) DPSA Topic Categories. Each DPSA Topic Category has a scope
description which will guide the Student Group in conducting research
and presentation of related local content. A Student Group may also
propose and work on a new focus study/story idea under a Topic Category.

Mathematics
Topic Description : Apply Mathematics in everyday life! Use and hone your problem solving skills by studying community measurements, rates, and/or statistics. Analyze data and evaluate charts, and tables. Predict future community statistics by projecting graphs.

Topic Description : Feature your community’s scientific and environmental efforts. Use scientific methods and experiments in studying community issues. Study and find solutions to pressing environmental and disaster-related concerns.

Topic Description : Showcase your community’s dialect, writing system, and literature.

Health & Wellness
Topic Description : Showcase your community’s health, wellness, and sports programs. Study and find solutions to community health issues.
